I'm DW1QTO again

After almost eternity I got back my license; thanks to the very persistent efforts of DU1NIJ to drag me to the PARA office to sign some documents and process my papers. I am now DW1QTO again, I don't have my license with me yet but its already available for two weeks now. But just the same it will take a while to hear me on air on the amateur band since I do not have a good shack at the moment.

catching and chasing

I really don''t know if I should be doing some catching up here since I can't see so much highlight with how the summer went by. Chasing dreams is not that easy, after leaving the 44-hour-work-a-week I had for almost five years what I found is the wild jungle. I could have enjoyed it well but the thought of the summer ending soon calls my attention that I should be doing something about it.

hindi ako magpupuyat ngayon

oo alam ko pagpupuyat na to pero para sakin ay maaga na to para matulog/ maaga pa to para maging pagpupuyat. matagal na din akong mayron lang na apat na oras na tulog. hindi ko alam pero naging regular na ang paggising ko ng alas cinco na kahit alas tres ako matulog ay ganun pa din ang gising ko. pero ngayon, matutulog na ko.

my countdown to summer

March is almost over and the invites for the outdoors are already piling up this early. In my case, the pile up is for those that I've turned down. I still got a month to wait for me to be back up the trail with my pack or down the road on my bike. Things gone ironic, just when I was planning to engage into marathons and fun runs I got grounded for three months because of muscle strain in my legs, "over used" as my attending physician call it. The sentence: No running, no jogging, no biking, no long walks. That doessn't sound easy for me but waiting is all I can do for now.

Happiness

According to wikipedia Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, love, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy. A variety of biological, psychological, religious, and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

This morning I browsed Amateur Illustrator to try to find out if my single entry would show up if I would do a random view of its gallery. After a couple of clicks to random gallery, I gave up my wish of seeing my entry.

always on top of the list

This afternoon, I am making three set of lists: want, need and others. as soon as I filled out my want list I realized that I got nothing to put in my need list. I reviewed it and to my surprise I no longer know how to distinguish want from need. The real score is I want them because need them, and its rare for me to have something in the want would be in the need list. I don't know. The "others" list is about things that goes either or neither the two lists, others could mean everything else and so its all inclusive.

And as I continue with my Others list I just found out that I always have this one item that's always in the top priority. That is--renewing my NTC license and have it upgraded. Sounds pretty simple? That's what I believe too, but it always end up as not being my priority. It could be in the need list since my license has been long expired and a want since I wish to explore on a wider bandwidth. But again, it ends up being skipped for the next item.

im high school again

After having a not so great Friday at the office I gave in to the invitation of a high school buddy, to attend the mini reunion he has set up for anyone who might be free on Friday evening. I could have met with someone else, I could have done a lot of other things at the headquarters, I could have slept longer, I could have gone home and do some reading. But for tonight, I'm high school again

January passed as soon as it came and again my long list my promises (announced and unannounced) due for the month again ended up broken. I don't know but January became the month I almost always throw certain to-do-list stuff and now they've piled up big time.
